The sixth edition of CHAINS, the annual Dutch Chemistry Conference, offers you the ultimate opportunity to meet the Dutch chemical research communities, expand your network, and get an overview of recent scientific breakthroughs and ‘hot topics’ within chemistry and the innovative Dutch chemical sector.
Over 1500 PhD students, postdocs, professors and R&D scientists from academia and industry come together. Be part of this leading event in Dutch chemistry and get inspired by renowned chemists from the Netherlands and abroad.
Young researchers will have the opportunity to present their research in parallel sessions and several focus and poster sessions. Activities related to similar themes will be clustered at the location, to promote easy encounters with sub-communities. The programme on 4 December contains next to parallel and focus sessions, lectures from several renowned plenary speakers and various opportunities for networking. Also the KNCV Gold Medal lecture and the award ceremony for the winners of the NWO Athena Prize, Gouden KIEM and Holland Chemistry Student Competition takes place on 4 December.
